Summer 09 had several really extensive rainstorms. At the corner of Leslie and Eastern the whole area goes under 8 to 15 inches of dirty water every time. The intersection gets closed and the next day the Loblaws parking lot is full of stinking mud. Problem is that the city needs to rebuild the storm system in this area and there is no money to do it. It would also disrupt life in the area for a year or so.
